Ford F-150 Weight for Each Truck Configuration

It’s a known fact that the weight of a truck has a direct impact on its performance and handling. But did you know that this weight can differ based on the truck’s setup – from its engine type to cab style? In this article, we’re going to walk you through the different curb weights of the Ford F-150, across its Regular Cab, SuperCab and SuperCrew® Cab configurations. Buckle up and let’s get started!

The most common Ford F-150 truck weighs 4,838 lbs. This truck has a SuperCrew® Cab, equipped with a 2.7L EcoBoost® V6 engine and 4×4 drive.

The Ford F-150 has many different configurations and because of that the weight can differ depending on its configuration. In its lightest form – the Regular Cab with a 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine and 4×2 drive – it weighs in just over 4,000 lbs.

On the other end of the spectrum, the SuperCrew® Cab configured with a 3.5L PowerBoost™ Full-Hybrid V6 engine and 4×4 drive, it pushes the scale over 5,500 lbs. That’s quite a range! This shows just how much the weight can change based on the choice of cab type and engine size.

What is curb weight? Curb weight is how much the truck weighs without any additional weight added to the truck, like passengers or cargo. This is the actual weight of the truck.

I’ve sorted the configurations by cab size first. This way you can easily find yours and then by engine type. This should get you right where you need to be pretty quickly so you can find your configuration. If you have any suggestions on making it even easier to find, please let me know if the comments.
